L-Tron employee, Julianne, participates in ‘Gilda’s Gang’ to support local families & individuals struggling with cancer.
L-Tron is giving cancer a ‘run for its money’ – literally.
M-team member Julianne is participating in ‘Gilda’s Gang’ this fall – a running club organized by Gilda’s Club Rochester that pledges to raise money for local families and individuals who may be struggling with cancer. By joining ‘Gilda’s Gang,’ members receive free training plans and running support leading up to the Rochester Half Marathon, held on September 23rd 2018.
Back in March, L-Tron team member Nate participated in the annual Gilda’s Guys Bachelor Auction to raise funds for the Rochester Chapter of Gilda’s Club. L-Tron is proud to give back to the community by supporting their employee’s efforts, and contributing to causes such as the ‘Go Blue for Trooper Clark’ campaign, the Badge of Honor Association, Gilda’s Club and United Way of Rochester. L-Tron also supports the Law Enforcement community by participating in ‘Cookies for a Cop’ each year, honoring fallen officers during Police Week, and thanking local Law Enforcement on ‘Thank a Police Officer Day.’
About Gilda’s Club Rochester
Gilda’s Club Rochester has been serving Rochester families for almost 60 years. The organization receives over 17,800 visits yearly and offers 1,200 free programs to men, women and children affected by cancer. Their programs provide social and emotional support to anyone affected by cancer within the Rochester community.
L-Tron is proud to give back to the Rochester community. Julianne will be running 13 miles to give back and remember those lost. Julianne has been with the L-Tron Corporation for almost 2 years. She wears many hats at L-Tron, however the largest parts of her role involve connecting with new clients and managing L-Tron’s conferences and events. Outside of the office, Juli enjoys horseback riding, running and finding balance in the yoga studio. Recently, she has challenged herself to run 30 half marathons (15 done so far!), and would like to incorporate giving back to charities like Gilda’s Club into this plan. Like L-Tron, she loves to give back to the Rochester community and supports local Law Enforcement.
