Steve Ewin, L-Tron’s most recent hire, sat down with us for a brief interview. Here is what he had to say.
Here at L-Tron, we are pleased to have our most recent hire, Steve Ewin, as part of the team. Steve joined our Sales Department in September and recently sat down with us for a brief interview. Here is what he had to say.
Q: Why don’t you start by telling us a little bit about yourself. What is your background?
A: I recently completed my 8th year in the United States Army as a Communications Sergeant. Throughout my Army career, I traveled all over the world, spending time on every continent except Antarctica.
Q: So what made you choose L-Tron?
A: Well, my job in the Army involved communications. I often worked with technical companies that are similar to L-Tron and after leaving the Army, I thought it would be interesting to make the change from a buyer to a seller. With my experience placing orders, I know what people are looking for when they want to make a purchase. So far I am really enjoying my time at L-Tron.
Q: Would you mind sharing a bit about your personal life?
A: I am married to a wonderful woman from the U.S. Air Force. It was tough while we were both deployed to different regions of the world, so we are happy to be home living in the Rochester area. I have a nine year old stepdaughter who keeps me busy and a dog named Zelda. In my spare time I like to hike and camp in the beautiful parks of New York.
