L-Tron Corporation announces that the price of its 4910LR Driver’s License Reader will soon increase. The price change, which will take effect in October, reflects ongoing supply chain challenges and increasing material costs. Law enforcement agencies are encouraged to place their orders prior to October 15, 2023 to take advantage of current 4910LR pricing.
The L-Tron team will be attending the NC, TN, GA IAI Joint Conference at Harrah’s Cherokee Resort and Conference Center from October 2-5, 2023. This educational forensic conference, which will be co-hosted by the International Association for Identification (IAI) Divisions of Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee, is geared toward detectives, crime scene investigators, forensic scientists and other public safety professionals. The L-Tron team will be featuring OSCR360 for crime scene investigation and prosecution at the booth and providing product demos to attendees.
L-Tron is pleased to announce that its patented OSCR360 system was on display at the Great New York State Fair. The New York State Police Forensic Identification Unit (FIU) showcased a mock crime scene highlighting OSCR360 and some of the other technology the department utilizes to solve cases.
The L-Tron team has returned from a successful 2023 International Association for Identification (IAI) Conference in National Harbor, Maryland. L-Tron’s patented OSCR360 crime scene investigation and courtroom presentation system received positive feedback throughout the duration of the event. The company’s Andy McNeill, an IAI Senior Crime Scene Analyst and 20-year law enforcement veteran, gave a well-received presentation entitled, “Something from Nothing: Building a Courtroom Presentation with Limited Scene Documentation.”
L-Tron will attend the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) Conference and Trade Show at the Westin Ottawa Hotel in Ontario, Canada from August 20-22, 2023. The L-Tron team is excited to introduce OSCR360 to Canadian law enforcement agencies.
L-Tron is pleased to announce that its OSCR360 Crime and Crash Scene Investigation system has been publicly recognized in the Orange County news. The Shawangunk Journal reported on a new Digital Forensic Unit within the Orange County, NY District Attorney’s Office, which will use OSCR360 to map crime scenes and prosecute cases in court.

Held at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis, the NASRO Conference was geared at equipping school resource officers with the knowledge and tools they need to prepare for a safe campus-wide environment.
