St Patricks Day 2018

The L-Tron Team Celebrated St Patricks Day 2018 on Friday

The L-Tron team celebrated St Patricks Day 2018 a little bit early on Friday, March 16th.

Everyone pitched in and brought an Irish (or green) dish to pass. Jason & Gayle teamed together to cook corned beef and cabbage. Alex baked adorable pot of gold cupcakes, Julianne & Ken brought in beer, and Nate brought in some Irish cheese. Most of the staff also dressed in green and even wore some silly St Patricks Day accessories.

We also sent around a poll asking if anyone had tried to buy beer before 8am… Surprisingly a few of us had.

“Me! They said I worked for the best company” – Marisa

“Not today; but I’ve tried at Wegmans and no go” – Cathy

“Why would I do that?” – Ken

“Amateurs” – Jason

“Why would I want to buy before 8am?” – Gayle

The team ended the day with celebrations and a beer:thirty.

St. Patrick's Day 2018

History of St Patricks Day

Originally a religious feast day – St. Patrick’s Day has since evolved into a broader celebration of Irish culture. The day is celebrated each year on March 17th, in observance of the death of St. Patrick – the patron saint of Ireland. St. Patrick himself was NOT actually Irish, he was credited with converting all of Ireland to Christianity around 400 AD.
