In this video, L-Tron’s Andy McNeill provides an overview of his 2026 International Association for Identification (IAI) Educational Conference presentation, titled “It’s a Round World: Documenting Small Spaces with Spherical Photography.”

More about Andy’s 2026 IAI Conference Presentation:
Crime scene investigators are often tasked with documenting a wide variety of spaces while preserving conditions as found. Traditional digital SLR cameras have long been a trusted tool for crime scene photography, but certain environments can create challenges, especially when investigators are working in confined spaces or areas where evidence cannot be disturbed.
Andy’s presentation discusses the value of introducing OSCR360 into these spaces to better capture the overall scene. The resulting spherical images can then be used as contextual containers for controlled, close-up evidence photographs. This help investigators show where evidence was located and how it relates to the surrounding environment.

Meet OSCR360
OSCR360 is a crime scene investigation system designed to help agencies document, organize, and present their case. OSCR360 helps investigators create a visual walkthrough that provides context and clarity for the evidence.
With OSCR360, agencies can capture the scene as found, add points of interest, include close-up evidence photos, and organize related evidence all in one place. This allows investigators, command staff, prosecutors, and jurors to better understand the full scene and the details that matter most.
