L-Tron threw a Sprinkle Shower to welcome baby Alvirda!
The L-Tron team threw a Sprinkle Shower on Friday, June 16th to welcome new baby Alvirda to the L-Tron family. Parents Libbie and Trevor (L-Tron’s Director of software solutions & sales) brought Alvirda and her older brother, Dom, into the office to meet the team.
Alvirda was born on April 7th 2017.
As always, the L-Tron team celebrated this special occasion with lots of great food. We ordered a beautiful cake from Sweet Times Bakery in Victor, NY – one of the L-Tron team’s favorite local dessert spots. We also had punch (non-alcoholic), a few beers and Libbie’s favorite candy, M&Ms. We had a fairly heated debate over the pronunciation of Sherbet/Sherbet/Sorbet.
What is a “sprinkle shower”?
A sprinkle shower is a low-key gathering to welcome and celebrate the arrival of a second (or third or fourth) child. Typically the mother gets “sprinkled” with just some necessities as gifts. Our team was happy to celebrate baby Alvirada’s arrival and show their support for the two parents. It’s always fun to celebrate life milestones with our work family!
