For the second consecutive year, L-Tron will be attending the IAAI (International Association for Arson Investigators) Training Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. The International Association for Arson Investigators Conference will be held from April 7-12, 2024. The L-Tron Team will be at the event April 9-11, showcasing the OSCR360 System for Fire and Arson Investigations.

The IAAI, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, hosts its annual conference to bring arson investigators together for trainings led by top experts in the field, as well as to provide numerous opportunities to network with peers from both statewide and federal agencies.

Classes offered this year will include a wide variety of topics, including investigation and prosecution challenges, impacts of artificial intelligence, courtroom testimony as an expert witness, lightning-induced fires, hybrid and electric vehicle fires, insurance claims, and more.

OSCR360 Visits Vegas for International Association for Arson Investigators Conference

“I am looking forward to my second year visiting the IAAI Conference. Last year, I had the chance to show many fire investigators how OSCR360’s software features allow users to store and organize their digital evidence, virtually revisit fire scenes, and visually introduce courtroom audiences to the intricacies of a case. I hope to see some familiar faces and meet plenty of new IAAI members in Las Vegas this year!”

Julianne Pangal, L-Tron Customer Engagement

OSCR360 is a multi-purpose tool purpose-built for fire investigators. The system takes just minutes to set up and capture images, preserving every detail from a large outdoor space to the small, cramped interior of a small motor vehicle.

Using the HDR setting, OSCR360 offers clarity and perspective within otherwise indistinguishable areas of a blackened and burnt fire scene. OSCR360’s Desktop Software point of interest feature gives viewers a closer look at pertinent details and evidence discovered at a scene, while maps and blueprint overlays can help provide locational context.

A virtual walkthrough with OSCR360 allows investigators, juries, insurance adjustors, and other stakeholders to have a comprehensive view of what transpired at a scene. Agencies can even use OSCR360 to conduct in-house virtual trainings with their firefighters and investigators.
