Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Receives Grant for OSCR360

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office plans to improve public safety in the county and surrounding jurisdictions by sharing the OSCR360 equipment with five local law enforcement agencies. OSCR360 will be used for a variety of tasks. The Calhoun County Sheriff’s office expects that the system will reduce the time required to document scenes and improve the accuracy of evidence presentation. This will ultimately increase efficiency for their investigators and support stronger case outcomes.

The article mentions, “The technology is already in use by leading forensic teams, including the Michigan State Police, and has proven valuable in complex investigations involving multiple rooms or indoor and outdoor scenes.” Currently, OSCR360 is being used by hundreds of agencies across all 50 states.
