L-Tron’s patented OSCR360 System was used for courtroom testimony during the murder trial of State of Florida v. Tomasz Kosowski, a nationally followed Florida murder trial featured on Court TV. OSCR360 assisted in obtaining a first-degree murder conviction.
During Day 3 of courtroom proceedings, the State presented evidence from locations connected to the disappearance and death of attorney Steven Cozzi. Court TV’s trial recap notes that investigators conducted photography and 360-degree imaging as part of the scene documentation. During testimony, OSCR360 was used to visually walk through multiple scenes, helping provide context as evidence and investigative findings were discussed.
The Kosowski case drew national attention for several reasons; Kosowski, a plastic surgeon, represented himself, waived his right to a jury trial, and faced a first-degree murder charge in connection with Cozzi’s 2023 disappearance. On September 23, 2026, Judge Joseph Bulone found Kosowski guilty of first-degree murder.
OSCR360 in the Courtroom
OSCR360 enables investigators to capture scenes in 360-degrees and organize all their digital evidence (photographs, videos, maps, documents, and more) into a virtual walkthrough. In the courtroom, this can help witnesses explain a scene while allowing the court to visualize locations, perspectives, and relationships between evidence.
OSCR360 has also been used in other courtroom proceedings, including the Rideout homicide trial in Rochester, New York, where prosecutors used the system during closing arguments to organize a complex case involving four suspects and more than 700 pieces of evidence. The technology has also supported witness testimony and grand jury proceedings.
