L-Tron’s Popular DAQ Modules Include:

USB DAQ modules are plug and play units that allow for easy and efficient data transmission.   They are supplied as 5-port hubs, 12, 16 and 16-bit multifunction modules and 8, 24, 32 and 48-ch digital I/O modules.  The multiple mounting options and lockable USB connectors provide reliable connections during the operation of automation control and online production applications.

PC/104 modules feature Ethernet, RS-232 or RS-422/485 ports and are designed for 8 to 96-channel analog and digital I/O.  These modules are very reliable and have the form factor to interface well with embedded solutions used in machine automation.

PCI and ISA cards used for data acquisition can be multifunction, analog input/output, non-isolated/isolated, digital I/O, counter and GPIB.  These cards allow automation in the data acquisition, test and industrial control arenas to effectively transmit information at a high rate of speed.  Although PCI and ISA cards are legacy products in most industries, there is still a large group that uses these products or has configurations requiring these products on a daily basis.

Signal condition modules provide sensor and signal-specific conditioning on a per-module basis for variant types of sensors or signals, depending on the application requirements.  Signal conditioners are easy to install and will protect instruments and process signals from the harmful effects of ground loops, motor noises and other electrical interferences.

L-Tron also offers a complete line of stand-alone remote I/O modules, including Ethernet and RS-485, which are broadly used within industrial settings for facility monitoring, environment monitoring and industrial process control.  Ethernet I/O modules perform as standalone products for measurement, control and automation and include communication controllers, analog I/O modules and digital I/O modules.  RS-485 I/O utilizes EIA RS-485 communication protocol, which is the industry’s most widely used bi-directional, balanced transmission line suitable for industrial environments.  The benefits can be observed through their simple wiring, using only two wires to communicate with their controller or other RS-485 devices.
