iKey StreetCase Takes iPad to the Next Level
L-Tron Corporation presents the iKey® StreetCase™, a ruggedized iPad holder with an integrated keyboard, designed to transform a standard iPad into a rugged laptop with the click of a button.
When closed, the portable StreetCase looks similar to a small briefcase with top handle. The unit is drop-proof, water resistant, and shields from extreme temperatures, making it suitable for various outdoor applications. When opened, the StreetCase fits an iPad 2, 3 or 4 and utilizes a full QWERTY keyboard and Apple hotkeys for full iPad compatibility. The sealed Bluetooth®-compatible keyboard offers three levels of red LED backlight for use in various lighting conditions. Pairing of the keyboard to the iPad is straightforward and there is a USB charging port built into the StreetCase. The keyboard itself boasts an impressive two-month battery life. The unit also comes equipped with VESA pattern mounting holes for in-vehicle use.
L-Tron also has iKey’s BT-80 stand-alone keyboard available, which is essentially the same keyboard that comes in the StreetCase. Features include the tri-level backlight and two-month battery life, as well as VESA pattern mounting on the bottom for easy attachment to a swivel device or tray.
