PennDOT e-Safety goes LIVE!

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's e-Safety Program developed with Verizon Business goes live.

e-SAFETY is PennDOT’s official electronic safety data collection & storage program. e-SAFETY is a voluntary program that will enable Pennsylvania’s nearly 17,000 safety inspection stations to collect & store their safety inspection data electronically. e-SAFETY is a contracted partnership with PennDOT and Verizon Business, along with approved electronic hardware, software vendors & safety inspection stations.

L-Tron is proud to offer all PennDOT e-Safety Program participants a cost-effective 2D barcode scanner to automate the data entry process. The 2D imaging scanner manufactured by Hand Held Products, has been tested and approved by Verizon Business for use with the PennDOT e-Safety program.  The imaging scanner utilizes a USB interface, installation is plug and play, it is fully compatible with the new e-Safety internet based system.  Select the scanner style you like from a point and shoot 4600r or the presentation style 4800p.
